Thank you for stopping by. I am Abbot Célestin Kabundi-Kabengele. In 2000, with friends we have created the association “Kakasu” to help the people of Congo and elsewhere, especially vulnerable persons, including street children and sick people. Our air works in the following areas:
- Child sponsorship
- Work in the health sector
- Welcoming, educating and training of the youth on the street
The association is located in Rossens/Switzerland. There is also a branch in Rome, and we will open a new one in the United States of America soon. Each year, volunteers from our beautiful region of the Gibloux go to the House of Life to help sponsored children in person.
Help us by donating or sponsoring a child!
Kakasu means hoe in tshiluba – cultivating earth with this tool is insuring our daly bread. To trace furrows one after the other to keep them as a reference. “If you give a man a fish, he will eat today, but if you teach a man to fish, he will eat for the rest of his life”.
